SummaryAfter deviating off course 8 miles to avoid military traffic, the two planes collided at 3,000 ft. The commercial pilot landed the plane in a corn field. Two occupants of the A-26 (33-35553) were killed and one parachuted safely. One infant was killed on the DC-3.
